Maxx Berteletti was named to the 2012 NJ Brine All-American Classic team and will represent NJ along with 23 other Garden State underclassmen in a tournament this summer in Maryland against 15 other state teams.

Congrats to Maxx and bring home the ‘ship.

Both the Varsity and JV games versus St. Joe’s Metuchen scheduled for this Friday have been cancelled.

The Varsity team will face Hillsborough in the Somerset County Tournament Quarterfinals on Wednesday, 4:30, at Cougar Stadium.

The Varsity team will face Holy Ghost Prep on Thursday, 4:30, at Cougar Stadium.

The Montgomery Ice Hockey team will take on Morristown this Saturday, March 3rd, at 6:15 pm at Mennen Arena in Morristown, NJ. Tryouts for the 2012 Montgomery HS Lacrosse teams begin this Friday, March 3rd, from 3-5:15 p.m. at Cougar Stadium.

All prospective players are expected to attend and should have their lacrosse equipment, cleats, sneakers, and be dressed in grey sweats top and bottom.

The second day of tryouts will be held on Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Cougar Stadium.

Coach Roy has called a mandatory team meeting.

The meeting will be held Monday, February 6th, at 6pm in the MHS library.

All players intending to play high school lacrosse this season – Varsity, JV, or Freshman – are expected to attend.
